The sum of the digits of the smallest eleven-digit prime is eleven. [Patterson]
In 2017, a chemist Salvatore Torquato
discovered that prime numbers, when modeled as physical
particles, produce a unique, crystal-like diffraction
pattern that reveals an "effectively limit-periodic"
structure. By bouncing simulated light off a long sequence
of around a million primes starting from 10000000019, they uncovered
a hidden, fractal-like pattern in primes, in what seemed to
be random numbers. [Gudipati]
