Nayan Hajratwala is from Saline, Michigan and runs a Internet consulting firm Chikli Consulting LLC.

Using the GIMPS program and 111 days of idle time on his home computer (an Aptiva 350 MHz, Pentium II) Nayan found a 38th Mersenne prime number. His computer could have found it in three weeks running full time.
