Vincent S. Wighman began working with computers when he was 8 years old by dissecting his father's calculator. When he was asked why he broke it down into small parts, his answer was, "I just want to know why this machine can calculate faster than I can." Well, now he knows! He's stuck with computers ever since. V.S. Wighman is now a systems programmer at a large Dutch bank, and has written thousands of routines for their marketing and foreign departments.
